Amazon Creator Connections explained
How Creator Connections campaigns work, how the bonus commission adds to the standard rate and how to decide which campaigns are worth a video.
Updated
Creator Connections is where brands offer Amazon influencers an extra commission for promoting specific products during a set period. You accept a campaign in Creator Hub, make content for the product, and earn the campaign rate on qualifying sales while it runs.
How a campaign works
- A brand creates a campaign for one or more products, with a commission rate and start and end dates.
- Eligible influencers see it in Creator Hub and accept it.
- You create content: a video on the product page, a storefront post or a social post with your link.
- Qualifying purchases during the campaign earn the campaign commission, as described in the campaign terms.
Some campaigns include free products or have limited spots. Terms vary by campaign, so read them before you accept.
How the bonus relates to the standard rate
Campaign commission is set by the brand and can be well above the standard category rate. A product in a 3% category might carry a campaign of 10% or more while it runs. When the campaign ends, sales go back to the standard rate.
The April 14, 2026 rule still matters: onsite commission only counts the same variant (ASIN) as the product page your video is linked to. If the campaign covers several variants, tag the one that sells.
Is a campaign worth a video?
A high bonus on a product nobody buys still pays nothing. Check four things:
| Check | Why |
|---|---|
| Demand on the page (“bought in past month”, ratings) | Bonus × zero sales is zero |
| Influencer videos in the upper carousel | Popular campaigns fill carousels fast |
| Days left in the campaign | Your video needs time to be approved and start earning |
| Variants | The bonus only helps on purchases of the variant you tag |
A campaign that ends in 5 days is rarely worth ordering a product for: by the time it arrives and your video is live, the bonus may be over.
Keeping track
Creators who work with many campaigns keep a simple list: product, campaign rate, end date, status (ordered, filmed, uploaded) and the product value. CarouselScout’s work list covers the product side: status, notes, value and dates, with CSV export.
Campaign details live in Creator Hub. CarouselScout doesn’t accept campaigns, message brands or automate anything in your account. It reads the product pages you open and tells you whether there’s room in the carousel and what one sale of your variant could pay.

A worked example
A brand runs a 14-day campaign at 12% on a $25 kitchen scale that normally sits in a 4.5% category. The page shows “300+ bought in past month” and two influencer videos in the upper carousel.
- Standard rate: $25 × 4.5% ≈ $1.13 per sale.
- During the campaign: $25 × 12% = $3.00 per sale.
- If your video drives 3 sales during the campaign, that’s about $9 instead of about $3.38.
Two caveats change the picture. First, timing: if the product takes 4 days to arrive and review takes another few days, your video may only be live for half the campaign. Second, after the campaign ends the video keeps earning, but at the standard rate. A campaign is a reason to film sooner, not the only reason to film.
FAQ
Do I need many followers to see campaigns?
Eligibility is decided by Amazon and the brand. Some campaigns are open to most approved influencers; others are invite-only.
Can I join a campaign for a product I already filmed?
Often yes, if the campaign covers that product and your content meets its terms. Check the campaign details in Creator Hub.
Does the bonus apply to offsite links?
It depends on the campaign. Some pay on any qualifying purchase through your links; read the terms of each one.
