About CarouselScout and how we write
A small, independent product for Amazon influencers, and the rules we follow for every number on this site.
Who makes it
CarouselScout is built by a small independent team. It is a Chrome extension that reads the amazon.com product page you open and tells you how many influencer videos are in its carousel, how the product scores from 0 to 100 and what one sale of the variant you tag could pay. CarouselScout is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Amazon.
How we check what we publish
- Program rules and commission rates come from Amazon's public pages, linked in each article's Sources with the date we read them.
- Every earnings figure shows its math (price × rate × sales) and is labelled as an estimate. We don't publish income averages we can't source.
- Competitor prices and user counts are copied from their public pages and the Chrome Web Store on the date shown next to them.
- When something can't be verified (for example, an unpublished follower minimum), we say so instead of guessing.
Independence
We make CarouselScout, so our comparisons are written by an interested party. That's why they show the date, the source and what each tool does better.
Use of AI
Some drafts are written with AI assistance. A person checks every claim against the cited sources before it's published, and pages are updated when the rules change.
