Amazon Creator Hub: what it is and how to use it
What Amazon Creator Hub is, how to get to it, what each area is for, what it doesn't show you and how to fix the most common access problems.

Short answer
Amazon Creator Hub is the dashboard where approved Amazon influencers manage their storefront, upload videos and photos, join Creator Connections campaigns and check earnings. You reach it by signing in with the Amazon account you used to apply. If you can’t get in, the usual reason is that your application hasn’t been approved yet.
What is Amazon Creator Hub?
Amazon Creator Hub is the creator dashboard of the Amazon Influencer Program. It is where you do the work that happens inside Amazon: editing your storefront, uploading shoppable videos, accepting brand campaigns and reading reports.
The name causes some confusion. “Creator Hub” is what most creators call it, and the label many accounts see. In December 2024, Amazon introduced Creator Central in the US, described at launch as a single place for reports, education and content tools for influencers and affiliates, available first in the Amazon Mobile app. Some industry guides now use “Creator Hub” as an umbrella term for all of Amazon’s creator tools. In practice, you’ll see different names depending on your marketplace, whether you’re on desktop or the app, and when you read the guide.
What doesn’t change is the job. If you’re an approved influencer, there’s one dashboard where you:
- edit your storefront and idea lists;
- upload videos and photos and link them to products;
- browse and accept Creator Connections campaigns;
- see clicks, orders and commission.
It’s different from Associates Central, the reporting site for standard Amazon Associates. Influencers are part of the Associates program too, so payment and tax settings may still live in your Associates account.
If you don’t have a storefront yet, start with how to create an Amazon storefront.
How do you get to Creator Hub?
You need two things: an approved Influencer Program application and the Amazon account you applied with.
- Sign in to amazon.com with the account you used to apply. A different Amazon account, even your own, won’t have access.
- Open the Influencer Program or Creator Hub link from Amazon’s influencer pages, or from the email Amazon sent when you were approved.
- On mobile, look for the creator section in the Amazon Shopping app, where Amazon placed Creator Central at launch.
If you land on the program’s sign-up page instead of the dashboard, Amazon doesn’t see an approved influencer on that account. Check the account first, then the status of your application.
Amazon renames menus and moves features between the website and the app from time to time. If a guide (including this one) mentions a button you can’t find, look for the same function under a different label rather than assuming it’s gone.
What is each area of Creator Hub for?
The exact layout changes, but the areas cover the same ground. A conservative map:
| Area | What you do there | What to check regularly |
|---|---|---|
| Storefront | Edit profile, cover, bio and idea lists | Out-of-stock products, list order |
| Uploads (videos and photos) | Upload content and link it to products | Moderation status of each video |
| Onsite commissions | Sign up so videos can appear on product pages | That sign-up is complete |
| Creator Connections | Browse, accept and track brand campaigns | Campaign end dates and terms |
| Earnings and reports | Clicks, orders and commission, split onsite and offsite | Which variant actually sold |
| Account and payments | Tax and payment details | That they’re complete, or payments wait |
Two areas deserve more attention than they get.
Upload status. A video that fails moderation earns nothing. Check new uploads after a few days, and fix or replace rejected ones.
Earnings by type. Reports separate onsite from offsite. Since April 14, 2026, onsite commission only counts purchases of the same ASIN (variant) as the product page your video is linked to, so look at which variants appear in your orders. Our guide to how you get paid covers payment timing and thresholds.
How do Creator Connections work inside Creator Hub?
Creator Connections is the area where brands offer an extra commission on specific products for a set period. You browse campaigns, read the terms, accept the ones that fit and then create content for those products.
A few things to watch from inside Creator Hub:
- Terms differ by campaign. Some include free product or limited spots; some apply only to certain content types. Read them before accepting.
- Dates matter. The bonus applies while the campaign runs. If the product takes days to arrive and the video days to clear moderation, a short campaign may end before your video is live.
- The variant rule still applies. A campaign on a product with many variants only helps onsite sales of the variant you link.
Creator Hub tells you what the campaign pays. It doesn’t tell you whether the product page already has so many influencer videos that a new one will barely be seen. Deciding whether a campaign is worth a video means opening the product page and looking.

What doesn’t Creator Hub show you?
Creator Hub is about your account. It tells you what you uploaded, what got approved and what you earned. Several things you need to decide what to film aren’t there:
- How full a product’s video carousel is. Creator Hub doesn’t show how many influencer videos already sit in the upper carousel of a product page, or whether there’s still room for yours.
- Whether your video is still showing. Videos can drop out of a carousel as others are added. Reports show sales, but a quiet week doesn’t tell you why.
- Which variant sells best. Since onsite commission now depends on the variant you link, you need to compare variants on the product pages yourself.
- Demand before you film. Signals like “bought in past month” and ratings are on the product page, not in your dashboard.
That’s the gap CarouselScout fills. It reads only the product pages you open, counts the influencer videos in the carousel and gives a transparent 0–100 score with a per-variant earnings estimate. It doesn’t sign in to Creator Hub, accept campaigns or browse Amazon on its own.
For how the carousel decides what to show, read the video carousel guide.
What are common Creator Hub problems and fixes?
Most access problems have a short list of causes.
- “I can’t access Creator Hub.” The most common reason is that the application isn’t approved yet. Approval time varies; Amazon sends the decision by email.
- Signed in with the wrong account. Access is tied to the Amazon account you applied with. Sign out and sign in with that one.
- Wrong marketplace. An approval for amazon.com doesn’t open the dashboard on another country’s site, and the reverse.
- Videos not appearing on product pages. Onsite commissions need their own sign-up, and Amazon’s help pages describe a first batch of moderation-approved videos before product-page placement; one page says 10, others say 3. Check the current number in your account.
- A video was rejected. Read the reason, fix it (claims, audio, focus on the product) and upload again.
- Payments not arriving. Tax and payment details must be complete, and payments follow Amazon’s schedule and thresholds.
- A feature moved. Amazon shifts tools between the website and the app. Search the help pages for the function, not the old menu name.
If the problem is account-specific, Amazon’s influencer support is the only place that can see your account. Nobody outside Amazon can fix an approval or a payment.
FAQ
Is Amazon Creator Hub free?
Yes. Access comes with approval to the Amazon Influencer Program, which doesn’t charge a fee.
Is Creator Hub the same as Creator Central?
They refer to the same kind of workspace. Amazon launched Creator Central in the US in December 2024, first in the Amazon Mobile app, and creators and guides still use both names. Which label you see depends on your marketplace and device.
Can Amazon Associates use Creator Hub?
Creator Hub is built for influencers. Standard Associates use Associates Central for links and reports. Some reports say Associates gained more creator features in 2026; check your own account.
Does Creator Hub show how many videos a product page has?
No. It shows your content and earnings, not other creators’ videos on a product page. You see that by opening the page.
